Q. Are we doing this on school property?

A. No. We are off campus but near the area where students are leaving campus at dismissal.

Q. Is this ministry sponsored by a specific church or denomination?

A. No. We are a group of Christians from various backgrounds and Christian churches.

Q. Is this ministry an official non-profit organization?

A. Yes, Need Prayer Inc is an approved 501c(3). Donations are tax-deductible.

Q. Does everyone who prays on site need to complete the Volunteer Application Form?

A. Yes. We want to make sure that those who participate have been approved to pray.

Q. What if a parent (or another individual) comes to the site and wants to help us pray?

A. That’s great, but they must be approved first by filling out the Volunteer form before they participate. 

Q. Can we hand out literature such as tracks or other printed materials?

A. No. Our ethos is to be relational with the students and these materials are inconsistent with that mandate. We will only give out information about the Christian club on campus.

Q. Can we just witness to the students and do straight evangelism?

A. You can, but not as part of Operation PRAY. Our practice is to use the offer of prayer first as a way of connecting them to the love of Jesus. Evangelism is a byproduct of that initial prayer.

Q. Do we have to buy our signs from this website?

A. No. The store is provided as a convenience. You can buy signs at your local print shop if you prefer. 

Q. Can we be part of this ministry by praying for it and/or giving financial support?

A. Absolutely. We need partners who will intercede for us in prayer as well as those who contribute to the expansion of this outreach with their gifts.
